Mother. Mom. Mama. Mommy. Madre. Mutter (one of the boys at our church would call his mother Mutter).

No matter how you say it, everyone has one.

She’s the person you lived inside for nine months. The person, who prayed for you, fed you, changed your diaper, kept you safe and warm. She’s the person who was there when you spoke your first words, took your first steps, and saw you off for your first day of school, the first day of high school, college, your wedding, and for some employment.

She is in short, MOTHER.
