Power in Christ Jesus

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The end result will be "that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable,  and perfect, will of God."

What is renewing one's mind?  The Word "renewing" is the Greek word metamorphoowhich is to be transformed or transfigured. As the caterpillar changes into a butterfly so must we stop being conformed to this world and its evil influences and transform our minds into harboring God's Word. Pay attention to the contrast of the "old man," our nature prior to being born again, and living spiritually.

Ephesians 4
:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, 
        which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
:24 And that ye put on the new man, 
        which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
