Common Core or Youth Political Indoctrinations, You Decide!

This past week New York State Education Commissioner John King canceled the remaining four PTA forums on Common Core standards in New York schools because he said “"co-opted by special interests." The special interests he speaks of are not the mean old republicans, not those tea party radicals or any of those other left wing anarchists, no this time the special interest groups are parents! What a novel idea parents who take a special interest in their children’s education, now that is radical behavior. Those parents came to discuss with him the education of their children and were not the low information voters he may be expected. They had the nerve to ask him “if Common Core is so good why do you send your kids to private schools?  Why is it that educating our children has become a matter of the federal government dictating to the states then the states dictating to local school boards? Is common core education in the hands of the local school board parents and teachers or is it a clever new way of indoctrinating our children to support in the current socialist political climate? Obviously those special interest groups Commissioner King is hiding from want answers!  What do you think?
