Felonious assaults on law enforcement officers are up as are officer deaths in the line of duty. Even more troubling are the several incidents that have occurred where multiple officers were murdered. So the questions that have to be answered at this point are: Can we do more to keep law enforcement officers safe? Are we doing enough to keep them safe? Do we have a training failure?
