I'm Shianne Moales I was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT but now residing in Concord, NC. For most of my 25 years of my life so far I have been writing. My poetry got me thru a lot of my ups and downs. I got serious in the 12th grade when we had a senior project and I realized that this was something I really loved. However I went on a poetry hiatus and wrote short stories and took care of my girls. However for the last 2 years I have been writing and catching up on what I love to do. My goal with my writing and poetry is to help at least one person get through what it is their going thru. I want people to know that I understand and that I know how it feels. As long as I help at least one persons pain, I feel like my pen will not be in vain. I have been blessed with meeting some very influetial people this year. I collab with Author John Ransom on a e-book that we offered for free to everyone, I also am a featured poet in Nati Holmes poetry book Revolution Minded:Prison poetry and politics as well as being apart of VLA {The Visionary League of Artist} a very special group of people who are here to encourage and uplift Art in a whole.
