Xpressions Radio presents BAD BOYZ KITCHEN. Today's special guest chef is, Emily "Precise" Bertolina. Precise is on the road of recovery...from addict to poet/rapper. Precise's story is one that must be heard. "I wrote non stop in my active addiction its really what kept me going and able to keep my head up when life was nothing but living hell and I had gasoline panties on. Without my poetry and lyrics I truly believe I would not have survived my addiction. The thing that turned me on to Spoken Word was one night at some random persons house I was channel surfing and turned onto Def Jam Poetry, when I saw those people perform and recite their poems I immediately fell in love with that form of writing and the whole concept really, it was one of the most beautiful moments in my life when I knew who I was and where I belonged."
