"Wicked Wednesday" in TheBasement with Marz Lightyear, a Rap Artist and affiliate at Dangerous Rap Records. Marz was born in Milwaukee, Wi., on August 9, 1989 as Lamar Terrell Simpson Jr., in 1999 Marz moved to the Chicago area, where he spent his child hood and teen years. Many asked about the name "Marz Lightyear" which came from the uniqueness and individuality of his style which he developed in the town he grew up. Marz also adopted certain ethics as a youth and became a young man that stood out while growing up around Hispanics.

In 2012 Marz moved to Milwaukee where he begin to explore and mix his lifestyle with his new enviornment. Marz describes his style and sound of music as "a breath of fresh air." He has the ability to create lyrics with a "catchy flow," Marz goal is to be known as creating "simply good music." In 2013 Marz hooked up with ThaDanja CEO at DangerousRapRecords, and started recording at his home studio and appreciated his ear for the sound, hustle and creativity. In 2016 Marz signed and became a rap artist under DangerousRapRecords, he plans to take his career to "the next level" with his deep passion and influence of Indie music.
