Will prejudice define who you are? Or will you define who you are? Are you the sum of your experiences or do YOU sum of your experiences. On today's special episde of the Parker J Cole Show, I had the opporutnity to chat to with a fasincating woman who has built her life on an aspect of human beings for years. Courage.

In her own words, our guest today says:  I was born shortly after World War II in a primarily rural Caucasian community disconnected from my Japanese heritage. In fact, I did not realize that I was
different until my grade school classmates teased me about it; this was  my first encounter with prejudice. I was blamed for the bombing of Pearl Harbor and World War II--a heavy burden on young shoulders, but there was something inside that would not allowthe pain I felt to defeat me.

Join me as we follow her story of coming into recognizing who she is. From ignorance to knowledge. From trauma to healing. A third generation Japanese American and a descendant of the Samurai Warrior, Lori Tsugawa Whaley is an inspirational speaker on a mission to teach individuals who want to make a difference in the world the Ancient Principles of the Samurai so that they can live their lives with courage, honor and integrity along with her faith in Christ.
