Remembering 9/11

9/11 was a horrific event in American history.  My condolences and prayers to all of the families who lost loved ones on this earth shattering day.  Also, prayers and best wishes to all of our service men, firefighters, police officers, doctors and nurses who dedicate their lives to help others. 

My question on this show is: should African Americans commemorate slavery as a horrific period in our history?  While I totally support commemorating events that have significantly altered history and affected so many lives, I'm wondering if slavery deserves a little more identification amongst our own community.  What do you think?  (Short show)
