Sometimes hailed “a female Van Morrison,” Lisa’s music is clearly influenced by the emotive virtuosity of Tori Amos, the sass of Sara Bareilles, and the harmonic unpredictability of Sting.

Awarded BEST SPIRITUAL WRITER and BEST SOLO PIANIST by Songwriter’s Showcase of America, Lisa has become a familiar name in Central Florida.  No stranger to performance, she has received numerous credits for her songwriting, including first place for BILLBOARD's annual Song Contest in 2009 and first place twice for the International Songwriters Guild.  Lisa is also a 2010 EMPOWER MUSIC & ARTS Positive Music Award finalist; she twice lead the house band for the organization's leading artists at their annual gala in 2010 and 2011.

Originally from Santa Monica, California, she found herself moving to Florida. Something happened after her children were born; songs started flooding through … songs about them, love, God, sex, even chocolate.. .and every song was unique from the rest, from her heart and very authentic.  So she became a music director at a local new thought church.  When her babies cried, she’d wear them in a sling to comfort them, leading song at the keyboard.

In 2010 Sound Engineer and Producer David Brown heard Lisa while recording a song for a compilation cd, and hearing a clear sense of what was possible in her writing, he produced a collection of her most raw, heart-centered songs for her cd “Lake June in Winter” released March 2011.

In addition to her solo performances, Lisa currently works as the Music Director at a local Unity church in Orlando with Rev. Alice Anderson, and it is the fastest growing Unity in the US 3 years in a row.
