Chapter 2--We Had to Learn How to Operate in Love...

I found this poem that I had written back in 2005. It tells the story somewhat of our process of learning how to operate in love. I used to write a lot and my poetry has always been my outlet of expressing just how I feel and what I am going through. I am not one of those poets who remembers what they write and can recite it word for word without reading it, nor do I always go back and read what I write. So you can imagine my own surprise when I read this piece of poetry wrtitten over ten years ago. The amazing thing is the way that it pulled on my heartstrings because we went through so much, and so many things have changed between us, that to reflect on the past again brought up so much gratitude for where we are not at today. I thank God for bringing us out of Chapter 1 and giving us the opportunity to experience a new love in Chapter 2. 

ROMANS 5:10-11 (NIV)  

For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His Life!  Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
