Know what you want/and know what you don't want. Be Flexible - don't expect people to be perfect "No one is perfect" - Be willing to accept another individuals flaw, as long as it doesn't compromise your values, beliefs and integrity. Have realistic expectations. Don't expect someone to be to you, what you are not for yourself. Know how to develop and maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. Learn how to like and love yourself. "The first and most important relationship is with yourself". Trust, Honesty, Respect, Communication, Boundaries. These are extremely important in maintaining a healthy relationship. Ultimately you will attract to you who you are, so you teach others how to treat you by how you treat yourself. Are you honest with yourself. Do you respect yourself and what is your tolerance level for dysfunctional and irrational behavior in your life? Darlene Brown
