Caregivers – Not Just About Giving

People that are close to us go through changes like everyone else. But some need guidance and help that can contribute to the healing process, often more than they need the physical doctoring care itself.

Caregiving is a a deep, intense, sometimes difficult experience for those able to work with the energies involved of helping someone close to us. Sometimes it involves their last walk in the physical form as they deal with a life-ending event. How do we best help them? And be mindful of our own well-being? What do they need? We will delve into all these questions and many more.

Caregiving is a powerful piece of the existence that we are examing in this series on the web of life. There are ways to tap into other portions of the web to support this caregiving role.

 As caregivers working from their souls and hearts we sometimes forget that in order to give the best care possible we must not forget about caring for ourselves. To find the balance between giving and receiving is not an easy task but is critical, especially since all caregivers go through changes that involve emotions, physical, spiritual turmoil, etc.
