God’s love and mercy triumphs over His righteous judgment!

Come now, and let us reason together, Says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18 NKJV

God is speaking to the children of Israel. They sinned against Him. They rebelled against Him. They turned their backs on Him.

These are the people God loved. He chose them to be His special possession. God promised to bless them more than any other people had ever been blessed. The Lord promised to provide for all of their needs.

God said their enemies would be His enemies. He promised to fight their battles for them. God promised to love them. He promised to dwell with them in the land He gave them. They had everything any nation or people could ever ask for!

God was saying let’s sit down and talk about how I will forgive your sin. He was saying let me explain to you how I will make all things new. Let me tell you how I will bless you and prosper you. Let me explain how my love and mercy will triumph over the judgment and punishment you deserve.

God is speaking the same words to us today.
