NORTH HAVERHILL, N.H. -

The mysterious disappearance of a young woman in the Upper Valley nearly 12 years ago is back in the news. An online petition by a group called Truth Seekers is calling for the FBI to open an investigation into the case of Maura Murray.

The Massachusetts college student went missing Feb. 9, 2004, after a minor car crash on Route 112 in North Haverhill, New Hampshire.

Despite massive searches, there has never been any indication of what happened to her. Murray's family claimed local and state police botched the investigation and ignored potential leads.

Now, a private investigator from Bethlehem is raising new questions about the case.
