Join The Arc of Luzerne County live to talk with Fred Lokuta, Deputy Secretary, PA Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental Programs. He has served the Commonwealth for over 28 years in DPW’s Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and started his career as a Direct Support Worker. We'll discuss the evolution of opportunities for individuals with I/DD during the past three decades, Fred's goals and aspirations at the beginning of his career and how they compare with the reality of today. We'll also talk about possible next steps in achieving greater independence for residents of the Commonwealth with I/DD.
