1. Every relationship must have a purpose
2. Every relationship must have openness/transparency
3. Every relationship must have trust
4. Every person in a relationship must take off any blinders
5. Every relationship must have growth
6. Every person in a relationship must continue to grow within the relationship
7. Every person must tend to the needs of others in a relationship
