"The Testimony" is Willie Phair’s journey to re-discover his religion. Willie Phair is a survivor. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York as one of eleven children. Phair spent most of his childhood in the Fort Greene Projects. Some of the most infamous people came out of the area. Phair new killers. Robberies, shootings, and murders took place in his neighborhood. Phair grew up with young boys who went to prison. Phair was in a restaurant with a longtime friend and suddenly there was a blackout and a loud BOOM! For a second, Phair thought he died. But he didn’t. He was still alive and his journey with God began again.
