Metaphysics is a traditional branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world that encompasses it, although the term is not easily defined. Traditionally, metaphysics attempts to answer two basic questions in the broadest possible terms: What is ultimately there? What is it like? Mia specializes in the central branch of metaphysics called ONTOLOGY, the investigation into the basic categories of being and how they relate to each other. Her show is based on the fact that, we believe we are many things: Human, for starters... A part of the Mammal Species Individuals, somehow unique in composition. We "attune" ourselves to different configurations for different purposes. So many things... So many ways to define oneself related to others that define themselves as Human. But in truth, Everything and Everyone is a form of Energy. Energy is the one thing that cannot be destroyed. It can only be transformed into another form of Energy.
