Brotha Amir - Life Poet

* Started writing poetry at the age of 10 and hasn't up his pen down since.

* His poetry offers a different view of life as he discusses things that are not commonly discussed.

* His first poem was a remake of Luther Vandross' Never Too Much, written as a love poem / tribute to a young lady who caught his eye in 5th grade.

*His greatest joy is recently publishing his first book Time and Circumstance: Memoirs of a Frustrated B-Boy and being near completion on his full length cd of spoken word, titled, Herban Soul Radio.

* His goal is to inspire others as he's been inspired. He hopes that someone reading his book or listening it him recite his poetry would see that fulfilling your dreams is possible.
