Veterans Day gives our nation time to reflect on the wars our country has fought but more importantly it gives us time to reflect upon those that fought those wars and thank those still here to celebrate our victories.  Many of our active duty service men and women will return home for the holidays from faraway lands.  Many will not be the same as they left.  As a country, are we ready to welcome them back home with more than words?  Will they have a job and will they have the support that many will need to reintegrate back into American society. The Rand Corporation has estimated that 33% of our returning heroes have PTSD.  Many have already returned home missing a limb and with other injuries that use to be an automatic death sentence.  DO we have the resources and are we truly prepared?  Do you know what is unique about the spelling of Veterans Day and do you know why it is on Nov 11?
