The aftermath of Hurricane Irene.  Some say the media and government over reacted and that the storm wasn't that bad.  I say ask the people in North Carolina, New Jersey, upstate New York and Vermont.  What do you think?

 Are you wondering what is, 'Arise Black Phoenix!'  The Phoenix is a mythological bird that arose from the ashes.  It is also similar to a comic book character in the X-Men series of immense power.  Arise means to lift oneself up or to ascend to greater heights.  Arise Black Phoenix is an attempt to gather as many people and organizations as possible that want to help rebuild the Black Community in the Las Vegas Valley and connect with like minded people throughout the country to focus themselves on helping their own communities with an agenda and a strategy.  It is time for Black People to Rise!
