Born Steven Williams in his hometown of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, MadeSacred spent his early childhood as a transient boy moving from city to city. At the age of 7, his mom and dad were divorced and he found his heart divided between loyalty to each of them. At the age of 9, he moved from Virginia Beach Virginia where he had been living with his dad, to then live with his mom. Almost immediately, MadeSacred, then known as 'OD', notoriously associated himself with the "bad kids on the block". At this young age, he identified with rap groups and rappers such as Cypress Hill, Insane Clown Posse, 2pac, Biggie Smalls, Onyx, and many more. At the age of 10, he wrote his first rap song and still continues to crank out intellectually driven hip-hop lyrics mixed with masterful beats. At the age of 14, his mom thought MadeSacred may still have hope of permanent transformation so she introduced him to a man named Bill McGriff (May he Rest In Paradise), an ex-drug dealer and criminal who had turned his life over to Christ and who was also living as a shining example. That day, MadeSacred verbally did turn his life over to Christ; however, like clockwork, the very next day he went back to his harsh and defiant ways. At the age of 16, he made his first life changing decision and dropped out of high school, a drastic move which brought his life to a grim turning point.
MadeSacred was convicted of a crime at the age of 18 and served his first sentence in jail. Over the course of the next 8 years, he routinely had severe clashes with the law and so jail became his second home. Nonetheless, he still continued to produce a genre of fierce and ruthless rap which would sharpen his talent for all the wrong reasons.
