Can non-life create life?

We only have two choices, either dead matter created life, or life created life. Where does "awareness" come from? Where do thoughts come from? Be still for a moment and ask yourself: what's my next thought going to be? You will realize that there is "complete silence" within your mind. Why is that? It's because:you cannot think of thoughts. As a matter a fact, a new thought does not come from the brain, it actually comes from an "awareness" state, i.e. a consciousness. It is only then, that you can think about "thoughts" within your mind.
