Billie J. Ross graduated her cosmetology program in April of 2009 at the top of her class being voted, “most likely to succeed” by her peers. While finishing her studies at Duncanville High School, Mrs. Ross interned at a well-known franchise salon in Dallas, Raw Cuts Salon and Spa. There Mrs. Ross received education and instruction from professionals that cultivated the skills she needed to become an incredible professional. Later Mrs. Ross received her high school diploma in June of 2009, leaving high school with a cosmetologist license, furthered education, and ready to service the world with enthusiasm and confidence. With only a week out of grade school Mrs. Ross was on a mission to succeed.Mrs. Ross joined the Toni&Guy Hairdressing salon team of North Park mall. There she worked and trained for 7 months, encountering hardships and opposition. Being of the Christian faith she knew that only strength would come out of the opposition at hand. It was definitely a challenge, but Ross finished the Creative Cutting Program, which exalted her to the position of an Art Director 1. This was one of the greatest feelings she had felt. Most of the co-workers and educators had counted her out, but tenacity and persistence carried her over the hardships of her career. In January of 2010, Mrs. Ross started her salon business, ExcluShear Salon, with only two clients. Once again she was at yet another hardship in life. Knowing that in her heart this was the right decision to make, she continued marketing her business, and swiftly it started to expand. In 2013, Ross trained for Design Essentials Education Team. After many hours and days of training, Ross passed her courses and is now apart of The Design Essentials Education Team. Starting ExcluShear Salon was one of the greatest decisions Mrs. Ross made.
