Maricia Sherman - Founder of HerGroove

Maricia Sherman is a motivating powerhouse! Known for her theatrical style of hosting, Maricia captivates audiences with her entertaining, energetic, and transparent style of speaking. She firmly believes everyone has a significant voice and that it should first be used to motivate and define their personal world around them. Because of this belief, Maricia purposefully utilizes her voice to make each experience with others enjoyable and impactful.

She is passionate about motivating women of all ages to pursue their visions, dreams, and goals. Determined to inspire women to understand the value of their own self- worth, Maricia hosts a series of live events each year to assist with providing each woman with tools to move from a place of immobility to mobility.

Maricia has earned a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling and is currently pursuing her doctorate level. She is also a careered Registered Nurse and can be found serving in the medical profession by keeping the community abreast of medical awareness. Just recently, she launched her own company, HERGROOVE, that is dedicated to enhancing women in every area by providing them a platform to showcase their grooves, gifts, talents, and abilities. She enjoys celebrating the unique value that every woman possess and has hosted her own radio show, HERGROOVE Radio, where she celebrates every woman, every groove.

She recently released her new book, DROP THE ROCK, a story of one woman’s determination to fight for her destiny. Filled with transparency about her own life journey, Drop the Rock propels women to overcome what they believe limits them and walk in certainty of their life purpose.

An engaging motivational leader, event hostess, and author, Maricia is a rising voice of inspiration and has shared her message of unity and mutual respect for each woman’s gifts and talents with diverse audiences around the country.
