What are the signs of a medical emergency? What to do?

This is an open conversation with Dr.Cheryl Klenow and Mike Roth.

We talked about the symptoms that require you to call 911.  These symptoms vary from falls, severe pain to loss of vision, facial drooping, or an uneven smile.  Slurred speech is another symptom to watch for.

Additional reasons to call 911 include: loss of breathing, lightening, seizures, burns or poisoning.

Also, what should you bring with you to the emergency room?  What information do the doctors want to see in an emergency?

We also discuss the dangers with some over the counter medications.

Dr. Klenow reviews local hospitals.
