Author Jack O'Brien talks to me about how he went about writting a novel about people in The Villages, FL. The book is a set of positive stories that everyone should read.
Jack also talks about the process he used to self publish his book that has sold 500 copies in the first few months.
Jack started his working years in radio and retired as the owner of an ad agency that specialized in architectural products. The agency was based in Pittsburgh, where Jack and his wife, Pam, lived for twenty years.
Jack started writing his book about fictional villagers in late 2020 and published it in December of 2021. The book is The Roundabout Way, and it’s for sale on Amazon and at Barnes and Nobel and All Booked Up in The Villages where it continues to be the number one work of fiction by a local author.
