Debra Marlar has more or less survived fifty-two summers, she's deceptively brilliant, articulate and a long-time graduate from the school of WTFU, that is to say nothing and yet everything surprises her anymore. There was a childhood in there somewhere, some education perhaps and then she set off to conquer the world one shitty paycheck at a time...fast forward to the present and there are two grown (equally brilliant) children, an ex, a new one that seems to be working out and the only constant were those shitty paychecks. In her spare time she writes secret poetry and runs a small, very small, publishing company.

About Goldfish Press, the name comes from a favorite quote by Truman Capote;

“There were hints of sunrise on the rim of the sky, yet it was still dark, and the traces of morning color were like goldfish swimming in ink.”
