This major event showcases the diversity and importance of our multicultural community. Back in 1997 I made a five-year commitment to help build the Latino Book & Family Festival into one of the best and widely appreciated festivals anywhere. Due to the ongoing success of this event and because so many cities are showing an active interest in holding these festivals, I’m happy to now affirm a lifetime commitment to the Latino Book & Family Festival.
