Join Rafael as he talks to Melissa Range bout her new book Horse and Rider Melissa Range's first book of poems, Horse and Rider, won the 2010 Walt McDonald Prize in Poetry from Texas Tech University Press. Her poems have appeared in The Georgia Review, The Hudson Review, The Paris Review, Image, and Best Spiritual Writing 2010. The recipient of a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award, a “Discovery”/The Nation award, and a writing fellowship from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts, she is currently pursuing her PhD in creative writing at the University of Missouri.
