Join Rachelle as she talks to Chana Bloch Chana Bloch is the author of four books of poems, most recently Mrs. Dumpty and – just published — Blood Honey. She is co-translator of six books of Hebrew poetry, including the biblical Song of Songs, The Selected Poetry of Yehuda Amichai and his Open Closed Open, and — also published in 2009 – Hovering at a Low Altitude: The Collected Poetry of Dahlia Ravikovitch. Bloch is Professor Emerita of English Literature and Creative Writing at Mills College, where she taught for many years and directed the Creative Writing Program. She lives in Berkeley, and is Poetry Editor of www.persimmontree.org/, an online journal of the arts by women over sixty.
