What makes a Nation Great? The Serve America Act is being poised to fund innovations to turn America round. But in the midst of this effort are smoldering pockets of unrest, fear and uncertainties that appear to paralyze or at least hinder much needed progress. With a limited amount of resources available and little time to develop and implement solutions, it is necessary to gain a focus that will provide a stable foundation that can support the efforts that are can be successful towards true recovery. But first there must be some level of agreement regarding the greatest challenge to our recovery, healing and stability. Should we focus on jobs or health care, elderly or veterans, youth or unwed mothers, substance abuse or prison reform? The Edward M Kennedy Act of 2009 appears to be an opportunity for communities to decide for themselves and get the support needed to make things right. This series of programs are designed to offer tangible solutions to the critical issues that are challenging the quality of life in various populations. Each segment will begin with a clearly stated problem, along statistics about the problem before inviting participants to help develop workable solutions. We invite forward thinkers, entrepreneurs and solutions oriented talkers to engage in meaningful problem solving. These episodes will be forwarded to government officials to let them review solutions oriented discussions.
