Julie Kramer is a career television journalist transitioning from news to novels. Her debut, STALKING SUSAN, won last year's RT Award for Best First Mystery, as well as the Minnesota Book Award. It was also a finalist for the Mary Higgins Clark, the Anthony, the Barry, and the Shamus Awards. People magazine called her sequel, MISSING MARK, "a crowd-pleaser." Her next, SILENCING SAM, will be released June 22. Amid murder, it examines the fine line between news and gossip. Mingmei Yip~Mingmei Yip grew up in Hong Kong and from a young age has had a consuming interest in writing and the traditional arts of China -- painting, calligraphy, and the ancient Ch inese musical instrument, the qin. Mingmei has recently turned her talents and knowledge of Chinese cultural history to writing novels, Peach Blossom Pavilion, (Kensington Books 2008) story of the last Chinese Geisha and Petals from the Sky, (Kensington Books 2010) a Buddhist, interracial love story set in China, Hong Kong, Manhattan and Paris. Now Mingmei has eight books to her credit, her other book in English Chinese Children’s Favorite Stories (Tuttle), which she both wrote and illustrated, has sold over 40,000 copies.
