President Joe Biden and FIrst Lady Jill Biden arrived in Puerto Rico yesterday, Monday October 3rd, to join Governor of Puerto Rico Pedro Pierliusi in a press conference in which President Biden reassured citizens of the hurricane stricken area that Federal assistance is forthcoming.
Parents and students gathered at the Hickory Glen Park in Glenwood IL for a rally to demand the reinstatement of the Glenwood Cougars Football League, which was suspended from the Southwest Midget Football League (SWMFL) because 13 year old Tremayne Gandy Jr. was academically advanced and was promoted from the 7th to the 10th grade, and the SWMFL bylaws forbid Highschool students from competing.
