Kinchasa Taylor is an activist, community organizer, environmental consultant, mother, former Executive 
Director of Green Opportunities for Urban Neighborhoods (GOUN), and now CEO of Gen X Eco Solutions, LLC. As a lifelong steward of the environment, Kinchasa is committed to ensuring that urban communities have the tools, resources, and the motivation to actively participate in the green movement.  

As an Environmental Consultant, Kinchasa works with renewable energy corporations, sustainable project management firms, architects, political candidates, institutions for learning, NGO’s and CBO’s in both Atlanta, GA and the Bay Area, CA. Kinchasa serves as the Program Director for the Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda’s initiative –Clean Green Honor The Lowery Project.  A project which allows her to utilize her grassroots skills to engage local communities struggling with the lack of jobs, living in poverty and minimal-non-existent resources to sustain themselves.

Kinchasa has served as a Board of Director for the SRN-Socially Responsible Network. As a Director, she developed and trained S.T.R.O.N.G. S.E.E.D participants in the youth entrepreneurial training program. In addition to her board work with the SRN, Kinchasa serves as the Chair for Community Re-Investment and Engagement for Urban E-Life and EcoShades communities, in Atlanta, GA. As the Executive Director of GOUN, Kinchasa has successfully developed various programs engaging HBCU’s in the green conversation. GOUN worked with students at both Morehouse and Clark Atlanta University for 6 years, working in various programs and initiatives.
