Call in to speak with the host
Join your host MTG, co-host Amanda Gari (Late Night Rendezvous) and our featured guest, Grammy nominated director and Bennington Gothique web series creator, Gregory E. Connor. MTG opens the show with The World According to Catmanda - discussing some of the hottest headlines of the week.
MTG calls this week’s Word Up! list and Amanda is on a roll. Our Shitz and Giggles weird-but-true story, “Family Gets Sick From LSD-Tainted Meat From Florida Wal-Mart” will have you thinking twice about visiting Florida or shopping at WalMart ever again.
Our featured guest, Gregory E. Connor was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and attended the Univ. of Maryland, College Park, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (BFA in Dramatic Writing). Gregory attended CalArts’ Directing for Theater, Video and Cinema MFA program which brought him to L.A. in 1993. He was nominated for a Grammy in ‘96 when the music video he directed "Melinda" was featured on a video album for James McMurtry. His project Bennington Gothique has been accepted at the 2014 Hollyweb Festival, nominated for a 2014 Indie Series Award, and the show is an official entry in the 2014 LAweb Fest.
Chat Time! with Gregory E. Connor explores the evolution of his career as a writer/director of stage, film, music videos and web series. Fundraising efforts for Bennington Gothique led him to donating a portion of funds raised to Children of the Night - a non-profit organization dedicated to helping rescue runaways from the sex trade business in the U.S.
This week’s “JUST THE TIP” segment reminds us that the place for sex is between consenting adults, and MTG, Amanda & Gregory go willingly into the fray and learn “How To Bring Out Your Girl’s Inner Freak”. There’s something for everyone in this week’s show, so tune in and turn on!
