In this episode of ODWIRA, we examine the life and leadership of Nana Abenaa Araminta (Harriet Tubman) from an Akan perspective. Nana Abenaa Araminta has been shown, genetically, to have been of Akan Ancestry. Her life and leadership manifests the connection she had/has to the Obosom (Deity) Abenaa, called Sakyima (Sekhmet in Khanit and Kamit) - the Obosom of war, fire and the enforcing of Divine Order through the extermination of our enemies.
Spirit possession and spirit communication were foundational in the success Nana Abenaa Araminta, as she freed Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) from enslavement and waged war against the white slavers.
We examine our publications:
Abenaa (Sekhmet) - The Obosom of Abenaa and Abenaada ('mars' and 'tuesday')
Sekhemet - Obrabosom (Menstruation Goddess)
MMARA NE KYI - Divine Law/Love and Divine Hate
