This is the 2nd installment of a short series of classes; the intention of which is to promote the sunnah (prophetic practice) of living in jamaa'ah (a Muslim community).

This class is based upon the forthcoming book called "40 hadith concerning reviving the jamaa'ah". The theme of the book is based upon the well-known statement of the Umar ibn al-Khattaab - 2nd Khalifah in Islam.

Tameem ad-daari said that ‘Umar said “Verily there is no Islam without a Jamaa’ah (community). There is no Jamaa’ah without imaarah (leadership). And there is no leadership without taa’atan (obedience)."

The host and author of the book is Imam Na'eem Abdullah. Imam Naeem is a respected lecturer and teacher in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania areas. Originally from New York City, he embraced al-Islam in 1991.

Imam Na’eem Abdullah is one of the Imams of Masjid al-Mu’min (Pittsburgh, PA). He is the Imam of Nur uz-Zamaan Institute - founded in 2008. He is a devoted father and husband.
