We zoom in on the Egypt (misr) in which Prophet Musa (Moses) was raised - which is the archetype - or the original model after which others are patterned - of future oppresive societies. Has anything changed?

This show is the second installment of a series of classes entitled "Contemporary Commentary from Surah al-Qasas." The instructor is Na'eem Abdullah - Imam of Nur uz-Zamaan Institute and resident Imam of Masjid al-Mu'min of Pittsburgh, PA.

It is hoped that this series will show the relevance of Qur'anic stories and their transformative power.
