The Global Black Community: What is OUR Response and What Should It Be?

This week we want to take a look at the response of the black community with regard to the current world health situation and the virus. If the threat is as real as it is being presented in the narrative, then what should our response as a community be? What about the Black Church? Our so called religious leaders? The reality of shutting down and scaling back the world economy is having an impact on everybody. Do we move with the herd OR do we call upon the information and wisdom that has been presented to us by leaders and scholars and is embedded in our DNA. One thing is certain and that is that nothing is ever going to be the same again so some will tell you that now is as critical a time for us to work together as any. Are we capable of working together? Do we even have a plan? This host personally sees a unique opportunity that could make all the diiference in the world for the global Afrikan family IF a critical mass were to apply and engage. And there are many who would tell us that what we should not do is panic, hoard resources, succumb to fear manipulation and end up being treated like a lab animal in an experiment. What are your thoughts? We also will be acknowledging the transitioning on of one of our scholar/healers, Dr Lliala Afrika, author of African Holistic Health who moved beyond this realm but has left us with his legacy of work for the good of Afrikan people related to health and wellness. His work could be a guidline and blueprint for us to follow and use. We will look at all of it. Tune in and turn on.
