Peace Talks, a program of Trail of Dreams World Peace Walk Initiative, will air monthly on NOWTIME Radio. On February 25, my guest will be Karen Jones Meadows. Karen Jones Meadows is an award winning author, actress, producer, and educator who writes for adult and young audiences with an emphasis on creating dynamic characters in stories that are universal in theme, passion, and resolution. Her work reflects the diversity of the world’s populations, thoughts, and cultures. Karen is currently touring in her award-winning and critically acclaimed production, HARRIET’S RETURN: Based Upon the Legendary Life of Harriet Tubman.

In addition, Ms. Jones Meadows is currently a cast member in, My Mother’s Daughter, a groundbreaking documentary by Linda Seagraves that explores the reconciliation of African descended women throughout the Diaspora in a three part journey from each person’s current home to their home of origin following the “mother” linage. This film is one of the most profound occurrences in Karen’s life, and promises to awaken and inspire millions of people.
