Indigenous Voices, a program of the United Religions Initiative - Global Indigenous Initiative, will air bi-weekly on NOWTIME Radio. Indigenous Voices will feature Indigenous artists, activists, wisdom keepers, and spiritual leaders. URI is a global grassroots interfaith network that cultivates peace and justice by engaging people to bridge religious and cultural differences and work together for the good of their communities and the world.

On February 20, my guests will be Chief Arvol Looking Horse, he is the 19th generation keeper of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe Bundle and holds the responsibility of spiritual leader among the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota People. And, Ta’Kaiya Blaney, 12 year old Ta’Kaiya Blaney is Sliammon First Nation from B.C., Canada. Along with singing, songwriting, and acting, she is concerned about the environment, especially the preservation of marine and coastal wildlife.

Our next show is scheduled for March 6 when my special guests will be Zoya Tishkisheva who will share traditional wisdom from the Sacred Land of Altai, from Siberia, Russia. Galina Ermolina will provide translation and commentary.
