South by Southwest Music Festival of Indie Artists

South by Southwest Music is the largest music festival of its kind in the world. The event, that also now includes a film festival, is the highest revenue-producing event for the Austin, TX economy.

I welcome Greg Roth, founder of the Seattle Music Insider (www.seattlemusicinsider.com) to talk about this music event and the Seattle artists who are attending.  These musicians include, hot new talent, Allen Stone, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.  Seattle is also heavily represented with indie artists on the verge of stardom.

A "insider" look into Seattle music, music from the northwest and the cool music scene in Austin, drawing thousands of musicians and music lovers alike.

In the second half of our show, I talk to Jen, the head of Chickchat Chicago.  Jen is organizing a extravagant "50 Shades of Grey Soiree" and we also talks about women helping women in clean and fun "womens night out" activities.
