Terms such as "articulate" and "eloquent" have been regularly used to describe Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barak Obama's speaking abilities. Why are terms such as these usually ascribed to Blacks who speak Standard American English as well as their Caucasian counterparts? The No Antics team is joined by Dr. Ronald Jones, tenured professor in the Department of Allied Health at Norfolk State University. He is also coordinator of the department’s Communication Sciences and Disorders program and director of the University’s Hearing, Speech, Language and Literacy Center. We will openly explore this issue and more. Join us! We'd love to hear your thoughts. The No Antics Team is live every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST. The hotline number is 646-649-0018. Real People - Real Life - Real Talk
