After Ian Hockley’s son young Dylan was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in 2012, Ian started Dylan’s Wings of Change Foundation to empower empathetic children to create strong, inclusive communities. The foundation’s youth led Wingman program is designed to develop social and emotional skills and foster a positive school climate.  Ian Hockley joins NJSBA’s Ray Pinney to discuss the program, its inspiration, and ways listeners can be part of the program’s growth in New Jersey by joining their new team of Wingman Trainers.
