While Governor Christie through Executive Order 42 established a New Jersey Educator Effectiveness Task Force, a separate group of educators formed to create their own recommendations in the area of teacher evaluations. The group was called EQuATE (Educator’s for the Quality Assessment of Teacher Effectiveness) and its report is also now public. Teacher evaluations are now at the forefront of the education reform movement. Please join host Ray Pinney as he discusses the group’s recommendations on how to improve teacher evaluations in New Jersey with the Chair of the task force and Superintendent at Montgomery Township Schools, Mr. Earl Kim.
