Ben Tucker/Walt Roberts

With the release of his autobiography, A Good Run (Edition One, Berkeley, CA) last year, Ben Tucker competed for San Jose State from 1960 to 1964, and received numerous accolades for time spent on cross country courses and the track. In addition to the Multi Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame, he is a member of Polytechnic High School’s Sports Hall of Fame (1990); the San Francisco Prep Hall of Fame (1995), which can be seen at AT&T Park; and SJS’s Sports Hall of Fame (1963, and 2005).  With the release of his autobiography, A Good Run (Edition One, Berkeley, CA) last year, Tucker found yet another performance outlet: He became a storyteller.
