(Judges 13-16)

Samson was a man who was misused by the woman in his life. They always wanted him to "prove his love" when they only wanted it to be proven so they would have the opportunity to be in control over him   (Judges 14:16-17, 16:15-20). Samson never took the time to step back and look at his infatuation with lust, anger, and naiveness. Samson would allow his anger to consume him because his understanding of being social was "an eye for an eye" (Judges 15:11)  Once he gave his Nazarite covenant up to keep Delilah quiet he was stripped of his power when she called the guards in to cut his 7 locks from his head.  They immediately put his eyes out, and made him grind corn. He was freed in death when his locks slowly started to grow back which equated to his supernatural God-given strength. He asked God to fill him with the strength to kill 3000 Philistines by his ability to knock the pillars down that they stationed him between. He was seen as "victory" for their god Dagon.  Samson died that day, blind, filled with strength, and seeking revenge on the 3000 Philistine.

Men be careful not have your locks cut off in your sleep, because lust has you fooled. Lust and Love are two different things. Break free of the bondage of manipulative women.  Walk light, be careful, and let God be your sight.
