The term "Day of The Lord " expresses from Judgement God.  In other places it is refered to as the 'Day of Doom",And "The Great day of Almighty God". Whatever the title maybe it refers to a time When God will destroy his enemies and bring in his kingdom on the earth. "The Day of the Lord is not a time when God will Judge both saints and sinners together.  The Day of the lord is seperate from the Rapture, It comes after the Rapture, and after the Tribulation.
